Is my view out my back door...Winter has come to Colorado! Colder than I've ever seen it in my lifetime! But the cold doesn't seem to stop good times and lots of memories being made...

We celebrated it...it was a magical morning, although we did wake

her up at the crack of dawn--singing!

She must really love us!

Lighting each other's candles! And trying to be quiet.

There was a bit of snow outside we had to drive through!

'Tis the season for finding Christmas trees....

Hammering this "thing" on was a real adventure!

Also, it's the season for finding Christmas cards...Here, I will share a favorite:

We have been hiking, or showshoeing rather....it's cold but the beauty

and the silence out there in the snow is beyond compare!

(And as is tradition...must have coffee in Estes afterward.)

Girl's Night in a cozy warm house...

Just hanging out...talking...consuming chocolate...painting...
